Website Development for Property Management Companies

A Service by Webology – A Birmingham Web Dev and SEO Marketing Firm

Today I wanted to take a look at one of our recent projects here at Webology. We were honored to work with Continental Realty to build a new website for a Birmingham company that’s been in business since 1984. Continental Realty is a property management company located in Gardendale Alabama. They service Birmingham and the surrounding area. In fact, the image at the top of this post is a Birmingham area home under management by Continental. We took that photo and many more for them when we started work on their new website. Webology offers photography services for our clients in addition to our outstanding website design.

Easy to use Property Listing Plugin

One thing you’ll notice about the new Continental website is the houses for rent in Birmingham. Sorry for the shameless insertion of SEO-friendly anchor text in that last sentence. Just trying to help my clients out! Anyway, back to my main point.

If you take a look at the rentals page, you’ll see just how feature-rich this plugin is. Continental Realty can add house features like fireplace, pool, trash service, deck, or central heating and air just by clicking a checkbox. It makes it so easy to manage their listings and improve occupancy for their landlords. They can even save properties when they are occupied and then relist them with the click of a mouse when they go vacant again. Let us help you manage your inventory of homes efficiently by installing this plugin onto your property management website.

Build an Outstanding Website – Keep Your Landlords Happy

Landlords are looking for a good management company to maintain their property and keep a high occupancy rate. I think Continental was already going a great job of that before we started working with them. After all, they were in business when I was in diapers! They must have been doing something right all those years. They have the lowest management fees I am aware of, and they only collect a fee if your property is occupied. But there were a few things we were able to do from a user interface standpoint to help keep those occupancy rates high.
Do you notice how many ways there is to contact Continental on the homepage before you even scroll? You can call, there’s a text e-mail link, or you can hit the Contact Us button on the right. That button is static, so no matter how far you scroll it’s there. This makes it easier for potential renters to get in touch. Additionally, we added a button for the application form right on the homepage. We secured a short URL to redirect to the site so that they don’t have to spell out the full URL over the phone. Finally, the last feature I will mention is the rentals listing. You can print out a PDF of all the available properties right off the website. Could we make it any easier for you to rent from Continental? Let us know if we can help build a mobile-friendly website for your real estate related business.
